Preferred One announced they will no longer be offering individual and family health plans through MNsure. Action alert! If you purchased a Preferred One plan through Minnesota’s public exchange website MNsure please call Mr. Health at 612-991-3546 or 877-800-7340. Your Preferred One health plan will no longer be available and must be changed to a new plan offered through MNsure. Mr. Health is MNsure certified licensed broker, new plans and renewal rates available late this fall.
Preferred One plans not purchased through MNsure will not be affected and you may purchase a new Preferred One plan with Mr. Health directly but will not be able to qualify for assistance or subsidies.
MNsure has issued a joint statement regarding PreferredOne’s decision not to offer health plans though MNsure in 2015. We understand this announcement will raise concerns for some of your clients. Today’s press release answers some initial questions regarding how this decision will impact consumers. We will share additional information with our consumer assistance partners in the coming days to enable you to better assist your clients.
